Residential Property Manager/Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an outgoing, customer service-oriented person to fill this role as soon as possible. This is full time position with room for growth.

Real Property Management First Choice manages mostly single-family homes, duplexes, and small apartments. Communication and consistency are very important to us as well as teamwork. We are a quickly growing company and looking to fill this position soon. Responsibilities

• Provides current and prospective residents with the best possible customer service to retain residents and lease properties. Has a genuine “How can I help” attitude.
• Displays a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times in dealing with residents, prospects, employees, maintenance, vendors, and outside contacts.
• Directly in charge of maintenance requests. Trouble shooting, sending to appropriate vendor, follow up in a timely manner.
• Provides back up for incoming calls and presents themselves with confidence and kindness.
• Logs all activity into company provided database in a timely and accurate manner.
• Takes thorough notes and a positive attitude.
• Maintains company’s customer service and sales standards.
• Provides assistance to Regional Manager when needed.
• Pays special attention to detail regarding all aspects of the job, including but not limited to move ins and move outs, quarterly inspections on occupied homes, applicants/prospects, data entry, and upper management.
• Attending and participating in office meetings.
• Occasionally driving to properties for various reasons.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience

• Excellent customer service

• Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Icloud and more)
• Expert in social media
• Teachable
• Good note taker
• Stays calm and cool in a fast pace environment
• Comfortable answering phones
• Manages time well
• Experience with Property Management (At least 3 consecutive years)
• Good at Negotiating
• Has a drivers license with a clean record
• Has reliable transportation
• Has a good knowledge of the Wichita, KS and surrounding area
• Self motivated
• Experience with Appfolio (not required but HUGE plus)
• Experience with household maintenance (general repairs)

Work Hours and Benefits

40 hours a week, 8 hour shifts

401(k) plus matching up to 5%

Paid Time Off (starts accruing after 90 days)

Compensation:

$36,000 to $43,000 yearly, depending on experience (with room for growth)

Additional Compensation:
Three months probation period. Compensation depends on experience, with room for growth. Also at the end of your 90 days, you will receive 2 weeks PTO for the year (pro-rated if received mid year) and 401K matching up to 5%.
